Ingredients
Scale
- 1 ½ lbs sirloin steak, cut into bite-sized cubes
- 4 tbsp unsalted butter
- 4 cloves garlic, minced
- 1 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp salt
- ½ tsp black pepper
- ½ tsp smoked paprika
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp red pepper flakes (optional)
- 2 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
- 1 tbsp lemon juice (optional, for a fresh finish)
Instructions
- Prepare the steak: Pat the steak cubes dry with paper towels. Season with salt, pepper, smoked paprika, and onion powder.
- Heat the pan: In a large skillet, heat olive oil over medium-high heat. Once hot, add the steak in a single layer. Sear for 2-3 minutes per side until browned and crispy. Do not overcrowd the pan; cook in batches if needed.
- Make the garlic butter: Reduce heat to medium, push the steak to the side, and add butter to the pan. Once melted, stir in minced garlic and red pepper flakes. Sauté for 30 seconds until fragrant.
- Combine & finish: Toss the steak in the garlic butter sauce, coating each piece evenly. Cook for another minute, then remove from heat.
- Garnish & serve: Sprinkle with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon juice if desired. Serve immediately with your favorite sides like mashed potatoes, rice, or roasted veggies.
