  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 1 cup Italian dressing (preferably zesty or homemade)
  • Juice of 1 Cara Cara orange
  • 1 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • ½ tsp smoked paprika
  • Salt and black pepper to taste
  • Fresh parsley or basil for garnish (optional)

Instructions

  1. In a large bowl or resealable bag, combine Italian dressing, Cara Cara orange juice, olive oil, garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper. Mix well.
  2. Add the chicken breasts and make sure they are fully coated in the marinade. Cover or seal and refrigerate for at least 1 hour (or overnight for more flavor).
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Lightly grease a baking dish or line with parchment paper.
  4. Place the marinated chicken breasts into the baking dish. Pour a bit of the leftover marinade over the top.
  5. Bake for 25–30 minutes, or until the internal temperature reaches 165°F (75°C).
  6. Let the chicken rest for 5 minutes before serving. Garnish with fresh herbs and an extra splash of Cara Cara juice if desired.
