Ingredients

Scale
  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
  • 2 tbsp olive oil
  • 1 tsp garlic powder
  • 1 tsp onion powder
  • 1 tsp paprika
  • Salt and black pepper, to taste
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth as a substitution)
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
  • 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
  • 1 tsp dried thyme
  • 1 tsp dried basil
  • Fresh basil or parsley for garnish

Instructions

  • Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
  • Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
  • In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, scraping the skillet to deglaze.
  • Stir in heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese, thyme, and basil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
  • Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over each piece. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes, ensuring the chicken is fully cooked.
  • Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
