Ingredients
Scale
- 4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp onion powder
- 1 tsp paprika
- Salt and black pepper, to taste
- 3 garlic cloves, minced
- 1 cup chicken broth (or vegetable broth as a substitution)
- 1 cup heavy cream
- 1/3 cup sun-dried tomatoes, chopped
- 1/4 cup grated parmesan cheese
- 1 tsp dried thyme
- 1 tsp dried basil
- Fresh basil or parsley for garnish
Instructions
- Season the chicken breasts with garlic powder, onion powder, paprika, salt, and pepper.
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Sear the chicken breasts for 4-5 minutes per side until golden brown. Remove and set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté minced garlic until fragrant. Add chicken broth, scraping the skillet to deglaze.
- Stir in heavy cream, sun-dried tomatoes, parmesan cheese, thyme, and basil. Simmer for 2-3 minutes until the sauce thickens slightly.
- Return the chicken to the skillet, spooning sauce over each piece. Reduce heat and let it simmer for 10-12 minutes, ensuring the chicken is fully cooked.
- Garnish with fresh basil or parsley and serve hot.
