- 1 1/2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/2 cup unsalted butter, softened
- 1/4 cup granulated sugar
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 large egg
- 1 1/2 cups mini chocolate chips
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C) and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.
- In a small bowl, whisk together the flour, baking soda, and salt.
- In a large mixing bowl, beat the softened butter, granulated sugar, and brown sugar until creamy and light, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add the egg and vanilla extract to the butter mixture, and beat until fully combined.
- Gradually add the dry ingredients to the wet ingredients, mixing just until combined.
- Gently fold in the mini chocolate chips, making sure they’re evenly distributed throughout the dough.
- Using a teaspoon or cookie scoop, drop dough balls onto the prepared baking sheet, spacing them about 2 inches apart.
- Bake for 8-10 minutes, or until the edges are golden brown and the centers are set.
- Let the cookies cool on the baking sheet for a few minutes before transferring them to a wire rack to cool completely.
