Ingredients
Scale
- 1 lb wagyu ground beef
- 1 tbsp olive oil (or any cooking oil of your choice)
- 1 small onion, finely chopped
- 2 cloves garlic, minced
- 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
- 1/2 tsp salt
- 1/4 tsp black pepper
- 1 tbsp soy sauce (for umami flavor)
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs (optional, for texture)
- 1 large egg (optional, for binding)
- Fresh parsley, chopped (for garnish)
Instructions
- Heat olive oil in a large skillet over medium heat. Add chopped onion and garlic, cooking until softened and fragrant, about 2-3 minutes.
- Add wagyu ground beef to the pan, breaking it up with a spoon. Cook until browned, about 5-7 minutes.
- Sprinkle in the smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Stir to combine, ensuring the seasoning is evenly distributed.
- Add the soy sauce and Worcestershire sauce to the pan, mixing well to coat the beef in flavor. Cook for an additional 2-3 minutes until the sauce slightly thickens.
- If you prefer a more cohesive texture for burgers or patties, add breadcrumbs and an egg to bind the mixture. Stir until everything is well-combined.
- Taste and adjust seasoning as necessary. Remove from heat.
- Serve hot, garnished with freshly chopped parsley.
